I have read several threads of how the warranty of the TL can be voided with certain mods. I wanted to upgrade the stereo system by adding amps and changing the speakers but am scared that if I splice any of the wires that the warranty may be voided. Can someone clarify what kind of mods we can be done without voiding warranty. Thanks guys

 

Hey, just read your post, i live in Toronto Canada, and i spoke with my sales guy about your concern with upgrading the audio, cause i too had that same concer. The dude that sold me my car said As long as the system DOESN'T cause any malfuctions to your car, for example your trip computer guage then you would not have any problems voiding ur warranty. However, say your car's NAvi is messed up and it was a result of your new upgraded audio system, then your screwed and thats where and when ur warranty will be voided. MSG me if u have more questions/concerns.
