Voice Command "Go Back" steering wheel button question

The bottom Voice Command button on the steering wheel generally performs a "Go Back" function. I seem to remember that you would hear a beep (or maybe a triple beep) confirmation tone when this button was pressed.

However, I don't hear anything whenever I press this button now. Am I remembering this beep-stuff correctly? Or is the normal "Go Back" button press operation silent?

Thanks!

It depends on the operation. If you're cancelling a voice command, there is no beep. If you are navigating the menus of the navigation system, the button functions like a "back" button on a browser and it makes a "bee-doop" sound.
