I Just bought a 2005 acura TL. When I press the the talk button on the side of the steering wheel. It tells me the "THE SYSTEM IS LOCK WHAT IS THE 4 DIGIT PASSCODE". I've tried every passcode in the manual and nothing seems to work. Does any one know how I can possibly reset the voice/bluetooth/Navi system without going to the dealership and being charge an Arm and A leg for a 4 digit Code.

 

If you just bought the car, you should be able to call your dealership and tell them it is locked. They should provide the unlock code for you for free. You will probably have to give them the serial number which should be on a sticker in your manual. The sticker could be in other places as well, such as in the spare tire well in the trunk, in your glove box, behind your glove box or on the back of your navi. If you don't find it in the first 3 places, I suggest taking it in and having them find it.

Don't let them charge you a thing. Make sure they know that you are wasting your time calling them and that everything in the car should have been in working order when you drove it off the lot.
