Video input (Aux) for Navi

Here is specifically what I want to do:

Have Female RCA jacks coming into the center console so that i can hook anything into that, be it an mp3, dvd, xbox or whatever.

I do not care about XM, so I can lose that.

I will probably be buying this: http://engadget.com/entry/1234000783052977/

with this i can use it as an mp3 player, or take any movie from my comp and play it through that on my navi.

Even though I have one set of RCAs coming into center console, if I am just using an mp3 player, I would not want to have to turn my navi off, and have a black screen.

I would also want to run set of regular male to male RCAs up into console under the carpet to underneath the passenger seat. I would need power to get to under the passenger seat aswell, this way i can put a dvd player or xbox or something there, if i decide to later on.

I spoke to Blitzsafe again today, and they told me they are doing a final software test today, and should be shipping out tomorrow. From what it sounded like, this would be only for people who are willing to give up XM such as myself.

So I think the best way to do what I want to do is:

Get Blitzsafe adapter, run audio cable from that to my center console, then buy a video adapter plug and run a video cable from the trunk to the center console area and install switch in console for video.

Doe anybody see any problems with doing this, or have any recommendations?
I know there are a couple video adapters out there, one by AVElectronics which is $550, then another plug and play one that vsokolov is selling for $375. To be honest I thought one of these plugs would be $100-$200, and right now they are more than what I want to spend, are there any other solutions for this?

Any help would be appreciated, i know I posted a bit about this in another thread, but I didnt get much response.

Hi there,

There are LOTS of threads on this already, do a bit of searching. In the meantime, you could take a look at my site. Has a step by step on a lot of what you want to do.

ya i looked at most of the threads about video. I really wanted to check to make sure that there was no other video adapter, because I had seen people talking about an adapter that seemed to be around $100 or so, but now I cannot find anything. so if anybody knows what the cheapest adapter is I would appreciate it.
