I just created a "backup" copy today. It came out to be over 6 gigs. I stored mine as an image file but if you want to make a new disc with that image you will need a dual layer DVD disc and capable burner.

I used alcohol 120% to create an image and it worked fine.

I picked up my TL on new years eve. An '06 anthracite 6 speed manual. It came with version 3.5

Just added 06 Ridgeline Navi to the stable and wow, is the navi on that hot! Wonder if ver 3.5 will make my '05 TL the same? Not only is the database more up-to-date, but you can speak the addresses (#, street, city, state) to calculate a route to. Bet there's more I haven't even found yet. Doesn't seem right that my TL is inferior.

DEG, Just curious do you know the version number?

My TL is running BNHH401A.BIN

I want to see if it's on the same disk I have.

Thanks, Mike

Just to understand you correctly, you also used Alcohol to burn the image to a DL-DVD and the disk was recognized in the car DVD-ROM?

I read a thread here not too long ago where no one was successful in making a backup of their navigation dvd and the thread got pretty technical. Here is that thread:
