Verizon Problem w/ HFL & Receiving Calls

I have a Verizon Slvr L7C and my wife has the LG Chocolate and we both have the same problem in the car, I tried a forum search but nothing seemed applicable. I can send calls no problem and the call goes fine.

If I try to answer an incoming call with the Steering Wheel controls the person calling can hear me but I can't hear them. Is there a simple fix for this? Any info would be appreciated, I'm sure it is something easy I cant figure out...

Have you checked out the phones compatibility on http://handsfreelink.com?

I use my blue tooth a lot in my car. I have noticed that when my phone is set to "vibrate" my system answers calls no-problem. However, for some strange reason......when my phone is set to "ring" (not vibrating), the bluetooth has a hard time answering/handling the call. Try setting your phone to vibrate while you are in the car and let me know if that works! Good luck.

This works! Thanks for the great tip. For anyone having problems with a Verizon phone the HFL works if you set your phone to vibrate.

This is an annoying little quirk, no doubt, but fixes the temporary insanity.

Worked on the Chocolate and the Slvr by the way...
