Verizon phones and AcuraLink

Has ANYONE hacked any Verizon phone to transfer the phonebook? Or hacked it to work with Acura Link?

Found this on the RL forum: https://acurazine.com/forums/arch....php/t-789.html

I tried this method with with my 07 TL-S and Verizon Treo 700W a couple of days ago (after taking the recent firmware update enabling DUN) and it seemed to work, but I honestly can't tell other than it said, "successful connection" or something like that.

There also a similar discussion going on here: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/2003-ford-escape-163349/

I've had no luck importing my phone book.

I have the 07 type-s and i have a 700P is it any different?

When you got the message successful conection...did it unlock any new features? Is it worth me even trying? I dont understand why acura would not make the system more friendly with the numerous cell phone manufacturers out there...there should be a patch that can be downloaded directly to the nav unit...

Don't know...other than the 700P and 700W are completely different operating systems...I have no experience with the 700P

It did not "unlock" anything as far as I can tell. That's why I said I'm not sure it actually worked.

I agree it should be easier. But I really believe Verizon is more to blame than Acura.
