I noticed by accident today that when the V710 is in the vibrate mode, and you dial a number on the phone, when you hit the send key the call will automatically transfer to the hands free. However, this will not work in the ring/vibrate mode. It must be set to vibrate only. I have no idea why this works - maybe someone can explain it.

Sounds like a good tip. Choose a phone number from the phonebook, dial, then HFL seamlessly pick it up. Great.
