Hey does anyone know if the stock navigation can play dvds? On the unit it says dvd/audio..... so I just wanted to make sure if a converter is needed with an external dvd player or can the converter make the stock navigation play dvds. So if anyone knows about this please let me know thanks.

The DVD will play DVD audios-- DVD/A; it will not play DVD videos-- DVD/V. Different formats. Dissappointing; won't even play the sound on them.

 

It cannot play dvd video. However with a decent amount of money and the dvd conversion kits available you can get the car to play dvd's. I did it the hard way and well it works flawlessly. Love it.
