V710 Bluetooth Connection with Laptop

Anyone having problems with their bluetooth connections with their laptops? I'm currntly using my V710 and Belkin 10 meter(33 feet) USB Adapter. I am constantly losing connection. I can stay connected for about 10 minutes or so and then my connection is lost and I have to redial to connect again. The bluetooth adapter is v1.1 compliant. I keep the phone literally a foot away from the laptop when I'm connected so it's not that. I set up the connection the way boltjames mentioned, I have windows XP. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

there is actually a lawsuit against Motorola in California for crippling the V710.

I held off getting the V710 and went with Cingular/AT&T Wireless (T616 and a BlackBerry 7290 for data). Couldn't be happier.

That mobile phone sub-forum would be the ideal place to discuss this topic. Thanks.
