v600 success

I have Cingular. They suggested that I read the manual for the phone and car before starting. It was easy and no problems occured. I got it on the first try but Cingular suggested that I got to the dealer if I had a problem because the phone would pair easily.

Is the v600 showing signal strength, battery life and phone number/name in the MID?

The V600 will display Signal Strength and the Number but not the Battery Strength.

Cool. Thanks. Wish it would show battery strength, though. Maybe a firmware upgrade?

I just got a V600 yesterday with AT&T; works perfectly. I keep the phone in my laptop bag which I throw in the trunk on my way home form work. Its there as soon as I turn on the car and ready to go. No issues!

Oh and best phone for signal ever for me so far... i can't keep a signal with any phone i've used at my house, except this one. Its iffy, but if i can connect successfully it'll generally work and not get clippy. w00T!

Do you know what software is installed in your V600. ATT is telling me that they still require a month's testing to approve V600 with TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.44R which is the software Johnson Controls says is required for proper operation. Had problems with first V600 and returned it until the software issue is resolved.

My software version:
Triplets_G_OB.09.2fr_A1

I have had a few calls drop out when i answer but that may be cell strength. Hard to tell sometimes.

Good Luck with ATT&T.
Cingular said the phone works great and to take it to the service manager at the dealer and see if they can get it to work correctly.

Thanks. Hope you dont have problems with that software version! The big problems were when you receive calls the car answers but the call was being sent to the phone.

Good Luck
