Hey guys,

On incoming calls my V600, when coupled with the HFL, still "rings" from its ringer even though the Acura rings (with a different ring) through the car speakers.

It isn't that big a deal, but when I had a SE T610, the ringer would switch to silent mode so that the car could handle the ring.

Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone found a solution?

well it depends on the phone, but my moto e398 did that and now my SE s700i does it too.

No big deal for me!

 

my SE T610 rings when the car rings also, i havent seen any way to make it got to a silent profile on the phone, did you do this in your settings some how?

 

depends on how your settings are on the phone, you can change the phone profile not to ring when you're called over HFL

 

thats interesting..have the same problem with the V505. Do you know the setting not to ring on the phone when in HFL?

 

My V600 is silent when in HFL mode.

Do you have any idea how you made your V600 "be silent" during HFL? Or did it just come that way?



clewttu, I don't know how I made my T610 not ring when in HFL. I only had the phone for two weeks so I didn't get much experience with it. I do know when I turned on the car the T610 display would say something like "Switching to Silent Profile" or something.

 

I keep my V600 on vibrate all the time & the only time it rings in the TL is when the car charger is plugged in.
