V3 Razr Help

I have searched the forum and have not found anything similar, so hopefully someone can help. I have successfully paired the phone. I can dial using the phonebook in HFL and answer incoming calls fine. However, when I dial a number using the phone, I have to use the HFL transfer function otherwise the call stays in the phone....i.e. does not transfer automatically to the HFL. Is there a way to make this happen automatically?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think that is how it should work. If you initiate a call from handset it will stay there unless you transfer it.

I think you might be able to press the call button on the car and then dial on the phone and have it automatically transfer, but I'm not sure. Give it a try next time.

Well, I tried pressing the call button and dialing via the phone...no luck. It did not automatically transfer to the car. Any other thoughts or phone settings I should try?

On the V3C after you hit send and the phone says "connected" you can hit the top-left menu button (for Options) and select "Switch Audio". If your phone is paired properly it will transfer to the HFL. I do this with mine all the time.

Dude, just press the phone icon on your steering wheel and say "transfer". It will work.

IIRC I had the same problem when I got mine. On mine I had to turn Auto Handsfree to ON and that solved the problem. Works perfectly now

MENU--> SETTINGS-->CAR SETTINGS-->AUTO HANDSFREE=ON

Try that.

There is no way any of us are aware of to get it to automatically transfer. You can do it by going to options on the phone as I described above after initiating the call from the phone, or you can do it by issuing the TRANSFER command to HFL.
