I'd like to put my V1's remote display inside one of the two spaces covered by flip doors. Either the one with the cigarette lighter or the one above it.

Anyone have an idea of how to route the electrical line to it?

 

it will on the bottom slot, you have to drill a hole behind it.

 

I removed the cubby pocket drilled and hole in the back of the cubby box (on the top). It has to be a pretty big hole to pass the "telephone cord" through.

Use the extra thin telephone cord (I used what came in my Directv DVR boxes), so it make that 90 degree bend by the edge...

 

You will need to remove the center console to run the wires. Instructions can be found in both the FAQ and 3G Garage.

Gotcha... Look for jmbnova's "short shifter" install. It spells it out for ya.

3M tape on the top of the remote display, stick it to the underside of the door. plug it in BEFORE attaching.
