Question V1 to overhead console

How do I remove the overhead light/sunroof control panel to hardwire V1 there? Also, how do I identify the power lead to the sunroof (or another 'switched' source). Thanks, Jeff

very simple to remove, the put your fingernail under the sunroof switch and it basically falls out, then just grab from inside the switch hole and pull, the entire thing just falls out, i forget which wire is which up there, but use a test light from the wires that goto the dome light if you are looking for constant power or use the sunroof wires if you are looking for switched power

welcome to the forums. congrats on the car. check the 3g garage for V1 installations. i suggest NOT tapping into wires. get a "add a circuit" unit from a local auto place (like autozone) and connect directly to the fusebox. that way - if you have any electrical problems with the car the dealer cant blame your v1. besides is a cleaner install.
