using 2 phones on HFL

i been using my personal iphone with the HFL no problems at all for almost a year now. Now i got a new sanyo phone for work and linked with HFL but the problem is its now not connecting the iphone. I suppose that only 1 hand can be linked at a time? Anything i can do to use both phones at the same time via bluetooth?

You should be able to have both connect, but probably not at the same time? I'm not sure, but I think only one phone can be connected to the HFL at once.

You can set the priority but i don't think you will be able to use both of them at the same time unless you turn one of the phone's bluetooth off.

I have the 3G iPhone and my wife has the Motorola Razr and both are hooked up thru the HFL. Whoever gets to the car first when the ignition is on activates that phone and then u are not able to use the other cell phone thru the HFL.

elstls - I think what you're saying is true, but I find that I can manually switch to the other phone if I disengage the bluetooth link from the first phone.

My fiance and I both have Blackberry phones that are registered with the HFL. If my phone connects to the HFL first but I want to use her phone on the HFL, I can go to bluetooth options on the Blackberry that is connected and disconnect it from the HFL. At that point, my fiance's phone can connect to the HFL no problem.

From the best I can discern, the HFL will only allow one device to actively be connected via bluetooth at a time. -Kris

Any bluetooth device can only link to one other bluetooth device at a time.

I believe that if you have two phones, both of which have been paired to the HFL in the car and both which are active when you get in the vehicle, you can actually have the car switch to a different device using the voice commands. However, you cannot actively link to both phones at once.

2 phones

You can't have both phones linked to HFL at the same time, but you can switch between the two through the car. Press the HFL button and at the prompt I believe you say "Next Phone" and then it will switch to the next available phone in the car (providing it has been setup previously).

Someone mentioned that you can set the priority for which phone to link to first if both available.... anyone know how to do this? Whenever I get in, my wife's links first, then mine, and I always have to change it.
