Usa Spec ipod problem

sorry i posted the other one in the wrong section. but for those who have the usa spec installed, how do you switch tracks on the console? i can only change tracks using the steering wheel control. and when i use the tune/sound knob it skips 10 at a time.

First - Which USA Spec module are you using?

Second - Do you have Nav or non-Nav?

Third - What kind of iPod are you using and where is it located?

Okay, I have the Hon2, so my comments are based on that:

- If you are trying to use the screen to change tracks (i.e. the touchscreen), that won't work. The touchscreen just doesn't seem to interface with the USA-Spec module. BTW, I only change tracks with the steering wheel.

- If "by the console" you mean the CD control buttons on the physical head-unit (not the touchscreen), the skip track buttons should behave exactly as the steering wheel controls do.

Just as a frame of reference, I keep my iPod Touch on the top of my cup holder cover so I can just change playlists manually (see here: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/i-160-usa-spec-install-633080/).

figured it out! when i pushed the buttons it would just skip from each play list. i pushed the "mode" button on the nav screen and changed it to channel instead of category. now the tune/sound knob changes one track at a time instead of 10 at a time. thanks! the usa spec is a great unit by the way.
