Are you talking about replacing an '04-'06 navi screen with an '07 screen? Any advantages of doing that?

As for the navi system, we have a few threads on that. They're linked in the 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ.

What would be the benefit of that? The appear to be exactly the same...
It's the MID screen that has higher resolution in 2007. They just stole the Honda Odyssey MID screen.

i can check for you later as i have a rental 07 TL. It would be of no use unless you want better video quality when watching DVD's. The disk drive puts out the signal in that resolution so it would not affect the navi really.

How much better do you want? It's a 7" screen and your sitting at least a foot away.

IMO, the screen in our cars are fine for DVD. This is from my mediagate running an ripped DVD iso:

If you are going through the hassle to swap the screen, you might as well swap out the system to get MP3 and XM nav traffic.

Plus, it seems a far more practical (if at all) reason to do it than simply gaining minimal res increase. This also sounds like a costly mod!
