if i was to install a navigation oem screen will i be able to get the functions of the accessories such as radio. dvd? im not concerned about having navigation? in other words i want everything but navigation...if its possible what would i need?

 

i think if you want to switch to the nav screen, you have no choice BUT to get nav. the screen uses a totally different harness than the one the non-nav uses. so to continue using your radio or your climate control, you would have to do a full conversion. oh yea, the dvd is not for video. the drive is solely used for the nav disk.

As for DVD, the TL supports DVD-Audio (DVD-A) which is not the same as DVD-Video (DVD-V, what plays in the DVD player).
