How much are the new updated DVD Navigation software cost? I have the 04 and know its outdated because a lot of the business telephone numbers have been disconnected, which sucks.

Go to acuranavi.com to order a new disc, but they are currently out of stock for the 2004 TL. The latest version is 3.30G.

 

3.40A actually

 

Where do find that information. On my info screen it shows my version to be 1.0010. Is that way out of date?

3.40A is what the 05s come with. I just got an 05 loaner with Navi and it's a 3.40A disc.

 

and there you have it... seeing that the 05 Navi and 04 Navi are indentical, the latest version is 3.40A, acuranavi.com just isn't as up to date

Apparently we don't need to update, but how much does Acura/Honda charge for the DVD if you want to update?

They charge $185 for the DVD. Anyone know the difference between 3.30G and 3.40A? The database information is from July 04 whereas my 3.30 disc is from September 03.

WTF- How can they say "Due to high demand we are out of stock of discs blah, blah, blah." Don't they freakin know how many cars were sold that need the update disc and make enough to cover the demand? Who freakin runs this company, anyway? Guess I'll have to get a loaner and swap mine out.
