Tweeter Replacement? How the heck do you make it fit?!?!
Ok, I am finishing up the planning of the system I am going to put in.
I thought I would just go ahead and pop out the tweeters just to make sure the Diamond Audio tweeters would fit nicely.
There is no way under the sun that these are going to fit. I have tried to pop the actual tweeter out of the mount (the diamond audio tweeter) and have had no luck.
They are wider and thicker then the current tweeter mounts. I know I can make them fit width wise by carving out the current mount , but there is not anyway to make the tweeter thinner.
Has anyone else who has done a front speaker component replacement had this issue? If yes, how did you fix this?
Thanks for your input.
