Trying to Wire LOC...need 1 issue resolved
Trying to Wire LOC...need 1 issue resolved
I am trying to install aftermarket sub/amp and connecting to factory system thru a LOC (line out converter) at the factory sub. Sub has 2 wires, + & - 2 channel LOC has 4 wires & ground. Where do I connect the LFT & RT wires to only one set of speaker leads?
Yes its 2 channel. Its a Stinger LOC. I have seen many people on this forum say they have used it and hooked it directly to the sub speaker wires that run to the sub. And of course directions say hook left channel plus & minus, as well as right. When you use the sub, how exactly do you wire it if the sub only has 1 channel. I just wanted to know that info.
I believe I found the answer. Since the LOC is 2 channel, you can just splice both negatives together and both positives together from each channel off the LOC to go directly to the one channel from the stock subwoofer. Can anyone else verify this is correct???
