Hello there, I am posting this message to let you know that i have found your discussion and think that i have found a similar product in canada in 2012. I do not have an acura however.

The product is:
Nashua Waterproofing Repair Tape, 1.89in x 10.9yd

I am posting this information because this topic on this forum comes up when typing in dynamat DIY or peel and seal DIY. And others can save oh maybe 30 minutes of research. I am going to go buy it tomorrow. I think 3 rolls is overkill but i havent measured yet. booya!

Do not use this stuff in your car. It's cheaper initially but in the tests that were done, it requires 3x more peelnseal and it still doesn't reduce vibrations as much as the car audio stuff. More than 3 layers made no additional improvements.

In the summertime it will come off and liquify. Not only making fumes but leaking all over your car.

It's cheaper in the long run to just spend the money on good stuff like Cascade, Second Skin, Dynamat, etc. which have no side effects.
