Is this True ?
The above radar detectors offer little protection against laser guns. Only a laser jammer like the Blinder M-20 has the ability to use countermeasures against radar guns. While it is illegal to attempt to jam radar guns, it is legal in most states to use a laser jammer, which emits an infrared beam at the correct frequency to confuse laser guns long enough to give you an opportunity to slow down. Since laser guns must be used from a stationary position, reviewers say you have a pretty good chance at spotting the threat visually, so you may not really need an expensive laser jammer. Laser jammers are illegal in Minnesota, California and Utah.
Laser jammers are worth it. Even though they do have to be stationary, you can't always see them... like a motorcycle cop behind a large sign. (guess why I know that?)
Anyway, yes, it's true. Laser jammers work (research which ones) and they are legal. Light is not governed by the FCC like radar, so there is no real governing body making it illegal to jam other than state legislatures in CA, MN, and UT.

they tested this stuff on some show and all those speed ticket detourant devices did not work against what the cops are using now. it could be just fluff from the media to try and detour people from buying these devices but the best way not to get a ticket is not to speed. i know we all drive above the speed limit sometimes and it's better to get accustomed to where you drive and find out all the speed traps so you can avoid the tickets.
