I have a 2005 TL and it's only about a week old. It was a 12/04 build, and it came with 3.40A disc.

I noticed that the "Quick Start Guide" that came in the owner's "folder" makes ONE reference, in the "Navi/Voice" tab, which is the last one, to the Setup/Info button displaying the menu for "selecting Setup, Trip Computer, Calendar, Calculator, or Voice Command Help."

However, the big Navigation Manual makes no such reference, and in fact, when I press "Setup/Info" on my Navi, there is no Trip Computer!

Now, I read in a previous search that someone on this board accidentally wiped out the Acura ROM and the Navi booted up with a Honda splash screen, but somehow the Trip Computer program was back on the display.

Question for you all, especially those with 3.40C DVD's -- Is there a "Trip Computer" selection on your Navi when you press "Info"?

 

It's a missprint in the manual. No TL has "trip computer" in the setup/info button. It is in another model of Acura.

 

There is trip in the MID, but I am not sure about the navi. Whats the point, the navi tells you the distance anyway
