Trapster.com and the Factory Navi

Anyone know if we can hack the factory Navi to have the info from Trapster.com loaded into a POI?

they have it compatible with Garmin and TomTom... does anyone know what kind of file WE have for POIs?

Would be interesting but you are talking about totally redesigning the system. Maybe a suggestion would be to not speed? I do maybe 5 over around town, if it's interstate i'll do no more than 10 over and I consider that being safe. Never be the fastest car on the road and don't drive like a douche bag and there is no need for stuff like this and radar detectors. But hey I only been driving for like 5 years so eh.

it is possible to do, its just the effort required. Basically you would have to disect the .bin files on the navi drive, and then add them in one by one in hex code in the proper locations and hope that the navi drive accepts it.

OR

if you want it that bad, you can put it on a phone that supports it, and then hook up dom's device and see it on the navi screen.

lol, we all know that the flow of traffic (at least here in NY) is a lot more than 5-10 over the posted limit. most of our highways are posted 55 and the flow of traffic is at LEAST 70-75. the cops here in ny generally dont bother u if u keep it under 75... but there is always a time when people are in a rush to get somewhere and it would be nice to know where they are hiding..........
