Hey Everybody,

I'm brand new to Acurazine, but I'm no stranger to message boards. I was pretty involved over @ with my 2000 Accord EX V6 for years, but now I'm going to be getting an 06 TL w/ Nav sometime over the holidays, so I'll be kicking it over here now!

My question is do any of the iPod integration solutions allow you to use the iPod controls AND use the steering wheel controls at the same time? Text, XM, Price are all secondary to the ease of controlling the iPod for me.

(I spent a couple hours searching and reading stickies and couldn't specifically find that answer.)

yes, the peripheral isimple give you all of that. there are 2 seperate modes for the isimple that you can use, IPOD mode allows for text and steering wheel controls and you can choose the music using the radio by using preset keys such as the number 5 and 6 and the tune button to navigate through your ipod. AUX 1 or 2, whichever you plug the ipod cable into allows you to control your ipod from the ipod itself and choose the music on the ipod and also change the song using your steering wheel. The difference is that in IPOD mode you cannot select anything on the ipod from the ipod, you have to use the radio, but you get text, AUX mode lets you control the ipod from the ipod but still change tracks on the steering wheel but no TEXT.

This unit is really easy and simple to use. takes only a couple times of use to get used to it.

 

The Dice unit will allow this as well.
