So I've read that the navigation is supposed to show live traffic reports like if the freeway is all jammed up it will show up as red on the navi screen.

Am I just misinformed or is this a service you have to pay for?

 

You have to pay for XM Navtraffic AND they need to cover your area.

its not cheap. you need to buy xm in order get get navtraffic as an option. i have it. navtraffic is cool to have but to be honest it doesnt really help that much.

 

i have it and i think it works great in Atlanta... i mean, the same info is availible for free on ATL's traffic website, but its cool to see it on my nav screen.... plus i dont have to be looking at my phone
