hey all,

My friend just picked up RDX w TECH over the weekend.... it's a nice car overall. Turbo really helps out acceleration! overall fun car to drive around especially in the city area.

anyway i wanted to know what our 3GTL's sound system specs are...
RDX with tech pkg advertises 410Watt/10speaker... AND THAT THING BLOWS OUT my 3GTL sound... it's no where near RDX with TECH sound.
lastly, RDX had no rattles when bumping the music.

btw, does MDX with tech has the same spec sound system as RDX with tech?

im gonna need some sound system upgrade

 

To me the system in the TLS and the RDX (tech) are almost identical. I have noticed that the structure of the RDX seems to be a bit more solid than the TL in torsional rigidity. That may eliminate the sub noise..? I don't have any rattles at all in my TLS and I turn the sound all the way up with the sub maxed regularly.

 

I test drove an RDX Tech before I bought the TL. I only listened to the DVD demo disc, but the system sounded much better than the TL's...shockingly good! The front firing mids in the d pillars really fill the cabin with sound and also provide the back seat passengers the same experience as the fronts.

No doubt the 4G TL will be up to par.

 

Cary, I totally disagree with your opinion.
RDX TECH's sound system is shockingly LOUDER than TL's. at sound lvl 15, it's louder than TL's lvl 25. and sounds much better w/o any distortion & rattle

TL HAS A 225 WATT SYSTEM I NEVER NOTICED. I MUST NOT HAVE TURNED UP THE RDX SYSTEM AS LOUD AS I HAD THOUGHT.

 

the size of the car is different though.. =)

 

The only real difference is the RDX has 2 more speakers in the rear doors and additional power to drive them... Whoop te do.
