TL-S w/ Nav Traffic & Ipod Questions

It seems that there are now no less than 3 ipod interfaces for the "Nav Traffic" head unit: the iSimple, USA Spec PA15 ACU xl, and a new unit from Dice. I'd like to ask those that have used any of these w/ the NAVTRAFFIC head unit what thier experiances are?

The iSimple (Peripheral) unit may or may not have firmware issues, if you've experianced them let's hear? The 'new' Dice unit may require giving up XM, (that not a show stopper but it would be good to hear). The USA Spec I do not know much about, but from what little I've heard may be the most troubl free.

Let's heare from those that have integrated the ipod into the TL-S radio.

Thanks

on the iSimple. Installed in the trunk on top of the Sat unit - easy as pie. Ran the connection up the center into the armrest. No firmware issues here.

uncald4 on this forum has a group buy going.

I just got an 07 TL-S this past weekend and one of these looks to be my first mod. Right now I am leaning towards the USA-Spec PA15 ACU XL. Was just bumping this to see if anyone else has used any of these recently and has a preference.

Also does anyone know what I can expect to pay for installation of one of these units?

Thanks

we charge $60/hr and depending on where you want the cable I would plan on ~2 hrs give or take.

everything works fine got my unit from uncald and took me about 45 mins to install everything..really easy installs in the trunk running the ipod cable to the middle console took the longest

pimpin -tl, in your center console there is an auxilary jack for MP3 players to run through your system, plug it in push aux on your radio and you have your music, or are we talking about something else, if we are sorry for my ignorance

I want to control my ipod with the on screen NAVI unit. This requires a aftermarket device to be installed on the stock deck.

I've been thinking about getting something for my iPod, rather than the AUX input. I haven't searched on these in a while. Do the newer units allow you to keep XM & display/control from the touchscreen? I REALLY want artist/track info, also
