Those with a PS2 in the glovebox... help

Quick question for you guys that hvae PS2's in the glovebox...

I'm finishing up my PS2 install, but I'm having a slight problem. I found today that the video/power connection on the back the unit are kind of "in the way", and making the unit stand up a bit too far, which in turn make the glove box door difficult to close.

Did you guys dremel a big hole in the bottom of your glove box for these cables to go through? How did you adress this clearance issue? No way my glovebox will close with this clearance issue.

Thanks.

Are you using the full size or slim PS2. The last PS2 install thread I've seen was a while back ago and I think they dremeled a hole in the glove box. I remember because the guy then changed his mind I was trying to find a replacement.

If you don't want to deal with that, there is always the bottom of the passenger seat.

It's the slim version.
I wish I could get someone to confirm this. I PM'd ITL with no response.

back or bottom? do the plug wires stick out the hole? That's the only way I can see how this thing will sit flat.

in the back.. both of the plug ends stick out of the hole, so the back of the PS2 is flush with the back of the glovebox
