Thinking of buying a Samsung Galaxy S II phone
Hi,
I was thinking of buying a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II epic 4G touch phone. Has anyone bought this phone and paired it to the car via bluetooth? If so, does it work, does it show battery and signal strength? The Acura web site is not very up to date with all the new phones.
Thanks

i had one of these and it does work just fine with the TL handsfree link it shows the signal and battery just fine.
make sure you buy a few extra chargers for it. You'll need at least 3, one for home, one for work and one in the car and plug it in every chance you get because the battery life on that phone is rubbish. Even with almost no usage you'll be lucky to get 8 hours out of it.

You must be on the phone constantly then. I have the same phone, and I can easily last the entire day on one charge. If I knew I wouldn't be able to charge my phone for a few days, I could easily make it last 2 if not 3 days. As with any phone, the more you use it and have the screen on-the faster the battery will drain.

garrett,
You said you had this phone. The phone has only been out a short time. You must have returned it or sold it. Why don't you still have it? Did you not like it? What do you have now?
thanks

my best friend is a store manager for a Verizon Wireless Corporate store so im able to get random phones to try out for periods of time. I went back to my iPhone 4 for now.

I have the Epic Touch II For sprint and it works perfectly for me, paired up without any issues. Ive also rooted and rom'd it multiple times, it works on stock and custom roms.
It shows the phone number, name, battery, reception, all of that stuff.
No issues here

Haha right now im on the stock gingerbread mod because I had to get a new one under my sprint insurance so this one is fresh and new. It works perfectly. I also was using Frozen Syndicate (ACS) as well as some version of cyanogen mod, all 3 worked great for me.
