I found this on another forum. I haven’t tried it myself cause my 6315 doesn’t get here until next week.
Here is a link to the post.

Upon first connection it appeared that my 6315 was not going to work with my Acura TL Handfree Link... But I found a way to make it work. This is how you do it...
Enter the normal pairing process and instead of selecting handfree or headset from the ipaq, go to the bluetooth manager and click tools... devices... click add device while in the pairing process on the Acura. It will find the Handfree Link with question mark. Select the acura.. put in your pin... name the phone and then you are set.
This is the trick...
If the phone does not show up on the TL at this point... click the talk key and say... "Next Phone"... it will say no phones have been detected.. and then a phone icon will show up on your display.
The way to make calls is to initiate them on the ipaq and then click the handfree icon in the title bar and then click continue this call using handsfree... The Acura Bluetooth link will think take over the call.
To recieve calls... Answer them on the ipaq, then repeat the steps above. Click the icon and select continue using handsfree.
Not as nice as it could be... but it sure beats not using it at all.
Good luck.

Other than the phone not natively working with the TL, i've read some pretty negative reviews about the 6315. I personally have a Treo 600, and a motorola V600 (we all know which phone I drive around with). I'm waiting for the motorola MPX to come out (also known as motorola MPX300). It's going to be a dual hinged flip PPC phone with wifi, bluetooth, 1.3mp camera and flash. Let's just hope and pray it works with the TL and i'll be in high tech heaven!!!
FYI: I hated this phone. I returned it hoping to buy it again if HP releases a patch for the bluetooth problem but after using my Nokia 6600 again, I will wait until a smaller, faster, and bug-free device is released. I couldn't stand the fact that I had to reset 5+ times a day. I prefer my Hp Ipaq 4155 with the Nokia.
just my 2 cents
oh, i was able to get the HP 6315 to work with my TL, but I had to answer and make calls via the 6315 and transfer.
