im putting in 2 12 type r 1243d wit a 1200w brutus amp. wanting to know if i should disconnect factory amp dunno if it sounds better. i ran a audio control line out converter to the factory sub wires dat i disconnect just wanna know if im doin it rite?

 

i did the same way, ran a line output converter from the rear sub for the amplifier. I disconnected the factory amp bc it was popping. as for controls, if you wire to the factory sub you'll be able to control and tune the sound with the factory equalizer!

 

Im running da audio control lc2i,my isn't popping at all....Do u have pics of ur install or diy diagram?? Im still running da factory amp 4 da mids & highs until i get a 4 ch amp......

As for wiring, do you want just for the line output converter or the whole sub install?
I can put together a DIY probably by Wednesday or so if you're gonna wait.
