I bought the Switchfoot and Trapt DualDisc and they don't work with the TL even though the DVD side has the entire album in 5.1 and they also have videos on that side.

Does anyone know how i can get them to work with the car..

 

Those are DVD-V on the flipside and not playable in the ELS. You gotta look on the backcover and it will say either DVD-A or DVD-V. I know Nine Inch Nails Downward Spiral is DVD-A. Check this post DualDisc Releases. Kinda sucks, because there is no standard format for contents on DualDisc and you can thank Sony for that. They will only use DVD-V on their DualDiscs because they push SACD as their hi-rez format.

 

Thats so dumb, Sony needs to stop crap like this. It seems like most of the new DualDisc are DVD-V.
