Hey guys!

I understand there are several different threads for switchbacks, so please bear with me.

I am going to be installing LED Tubes in my headlights next week, however, I need switchbacks and resistors because I will be clearing out my headlights at the same time.

Now heres my question(s). What switchback should I buy? (a direct link please, my eyes hurt me after all the different flashing lights popping up) I am looking for a plug and play type, if some modification is needed, then so be it. But something an amateur could do please.

Is this resistor good? Its the VLR-6. Should I buy two? Or will I be okay with just one?

And for the switchbacks. Please don't recommend me the V3 Tritons, I don't have $100 to spend on bulbs. More so $20-$40 really.

 

I know what you mean about not having the money to spend on lighting, but just be aware that if your only spending $20-$40 you might run into problems.

i'm running the diode dynamics switchbacks - been using them for over a year (installed them when i modded my headlights in March of last year)

I also am using the diode dynamics modded flasher relay - it's more money (by far) but it's really plug and play - simply pull out your oem flasher relay and install the dd modded flasher relay - it'll handle any combination of halogen/led bulbs without issue - i didn't really have the time to deal with modding my own relay and also I didn't want to have those inline resistors creating hot spots on each bulb
