SVC and dolby pro logic ?

I have a 2007 s-type and I'm kind of in the dark about these sound settings. I understand that the svc compensates for the volume at greater speeds but there is 4 setting which are off, low, mid, high and I'm not really sure how these work or which one is best... kind of curious about what other people use and why... Also the dolby pro logic any recommendations on that as to if people leave that on or off.

SVC raises the volume of the audio as you drive along so you can hear the music over the increased road noise. I usually set it to mid and drive around. If it seems good when you first start off and then to loud when driving around, lower to to low. If it sounds a bit to soft when your driving, put it to high.

Dolby Pro Logic analyzes and masters the sound from regular 2 channel audio to simulated 5.1 audio. It can be pretty good with some songs and okay with others. I'd listen to it on and off with some of you favorite songs and see if you like it with it on or off.

Yeah, I like the Dolby PLII also, even though I have an Accord. I don't know what's been missing in the car, and that was it. Now I LOVE my car.

Do you think that would sound good with audio from a movie, being played from an iPod Touch?

I might have to try that...

I never had much luck with DL on - found that it would bump the volume down but not really increase the quality much. Might just be on the wrong sources but I've had it off pretty much since I got the car.
