I'm getting ready to start on my TL's trunk and was curious what other owners out there have done.

 

I would post mine but it's about as unimaginative as it gets. Two JL 12W6s facing backwards and an amp mounted to the side of the trunk. Boring but functional. After seeing what some on this forum have done, mine is pretty ghetto. I am proud that I've upgraded every speaker in the car under the stock speaker grills. As a passenger you would never know it's not stock until you turn it on.

this is what i had in my previous 04 TL, I now have an 07 Type-S and will be doing something similar.

 

^^^ Very Nice! How much does a setup like this cost? This summer I want to have a custom stero installed, just not sure where to start. The stock system in the 07-TL-S is horrible.

Did you guys have to run a wire from the head unit OR did you used the audio signal coming into the stock sub? Any comments/suggestions would be good since i'm planning on adding an amp/sub soon.
