Sub problems
Sub problems
Got a sub and amp hooked up today and it sounded great. When I got it home I noticed when I would turn the car on I would get a solid bass note from the sub for 10-15 secs and then it would stop. The same thing would happen at random times during the song also. When I would open the car door it would stop.
So I brought it back to the installation place and he fixed it but now I can't control the sub from the head unit, the sub also doesn't sound as good. Before I brought it back up there the gain was only up 1/4 of the way and now it's turned all the way up and doesn't sound as good.
Wish I had more knowledge about audio. Anyone have and idea what's going on?

Me thinks I figured it out. I didn't unplug the mic thingy above the rear light in the back seat. When I went back with the problem the guy ran the LOC off my door speaker and called it a day, no wonder it sounded about 1/2 the power when he rigged it for the fix.
I will go back tomorrow and have him run the LOC off the sub signal again and see if all is good.
Thanks rossv1
