please remember....

the port re-enforces what the front of the speaker cone already makes...so just facing the port into the car...is destructive...

please post how your trunk is currently setup and i would be more than glad to offer some assistance to you...

thanks biggs ... dont have any pics but at the moment i have one MTx 9500 and a 2000k eclipse amp and would like to get the most bass out ot what i have but am willing to buy another ... i basically built the box that mtx called for in there instruction book when i bought the sub and threw it in the trunk tried it facing toward back AND FRONT NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE..... on another note i had a shop do the amp install bc i didnt feal like doin it and they used a high lo but i think i read from your post you hard wired the rca directly to the output on the factory amp .... is that a better signal+ better bass more controle through factory head unit thanks for your responce...................

on a side not i read your post on the bandpass box you made for 2 12's loved it but would like to only loose the first 16 inches of trunk so i can still actually use it

i don't think a 4th order for 2 9500's is gonna fit

let alone a ported box

imo, you should start from the front and move your way back.
