I mostly notice this problem when the car is "cold" i.e. it's cold outside and the car has been sitting for a while, such as in the morning or after days worth of work.

The problem is, that HFL can receive call and I can hear the other party just fine but they can't hear me at all.

Also, the voice recognition keeps saying "pardon", "please repeat" etc.

Makes me think the mic is acting up when it's cold. The problem would normally go away after the car has been driven around for a bit or during mid afternoon.

The car has a relatively brand new replacement bluetooth module (less than year old).


Anyone seen this?

 

I went into the advanced diagnostics menu and tried to set up the mic level. Strangely, when I press the talk button and speak after the "Now Recording!" prompt shows. I don't see the mic levels move at all!

Funny thing is, the mic "will" start working later in the day.
