I noticed that my navi system doesn't respond to the voice commands that require answers from the system. So far I found three such commands:
What time is it?
How far to the destination?
How long to the destination?
Everything else is working, and those three also used to work, but not anymore. I am puzlled- I can't think about any hardware component, which can be responsible for this. I reloaded the navi software from the disk and it didn't change anything.
Have anyone else had encounters this behavior? Do you know any other commands which require voice responses from the system- want to check them too.

 

Some of the commands are screen sensitive try going to the map guide screen and then say "what time is it"

 

Yes, I know about it. I was on the correct screen.

 

o.k i'm stumped, I get into Navi TL's everyday and the only time commands have ever failed is when I have'nt been in the right screen.

 

I tell the bitch inside there "Go F**k Yourself" and she responds with "The Time Is......"

Think you got it bad? When I hit [Go Home] parked in front of my home, she says
"Make U-Turn, Destination Is On The Left".

 

You better watch what you say to her, cause one day she may get mad and lock up the steering and drive you off the road!

 

 

The cause of this problem turned out to be vey simple snd stupid. I had voice for navigation turned off, and it affected the abovementioned commands too. I wuould consider it a software bug.
If a service dept. at my dealership misbehaves, I will present this problem to them
