Anyone have the storm? I'm having trouble linking them together.

When I have it search it doesn't find anything

 

u need to press the talk button on steering wheel.. then say (IIRC) phone set up if that doesnt work say help.. listen to options and it should help you pair phone. once in pairing mode then go to manage connections on storm and set up blue tooth and hit search.

Got mine to work. Make sure you set the storm's bluetooth settings to "Listen" and it should connect as long as you've set up the password and all that.

 

I have the storm, mine works. I actually could not get the HFL to find my phone so I ended up searching from the phone and connected them that way. Let us know how you make out and post up any cool BB apps you find

Okay code is set up. I went to hand link then asusd phone set up. Then I said pair. The cwe is reacting on the screen but not talking back to me. Then I give my code then I say yes but it won't do anything after that. The last step! I tried searching from my phone but nothing

anyone know why my HFL doesn't automatically transfer the call over if I get in my car while already on a phonecall? It annoys me.

 

Okay well after spending some time in the car last night. I got the storm to recognize the TL but the TL doesn't show any info on the storm. Part of the problem is that I can't hear the TL say anything. is there a way to trouble shoot the mute car?

 

I've had the same problems with my Storm. I got my 04 TL on Monday and spent an hour trying to get the damn thing to sync. I'm going to try the Search option when I get off work today.

 

yes i had to try it a few times but then it worked - well the storm did the tl didnt. the tl still has no info listed.

 

that's just one of those things we've learned to accept.

The workaround is, when you get in and turn your car on, hit the talk button on the steering wheel and say "Transfer". It will then transfer the call from your cell to the car. It would probably be good etiquette to ask the person you are talking to to hold a sec, as it takes a second or 2 and they will hear you say "Transfer".
