Has anyone replaced/updated the stock navi/interface on the 3rd generation TL? I've seen a couple of BMWs that were updated, but haven't noticed anything with the TLs. If so, what did you replace with?

 

It's a drop in replacement if you want to replace the 04-06 navi with the 07-08 navi. If you meant with something else like aftermarket, the biggest thing to contend with are the volume and radio dial knob cutouts on the silver trim. No way to hide that right.

 

you can't replace the actual navi screen unless you put a tablet in front of it. if you want to add a double din you have to remove the radio below the screen and put it there. the oem navi screen is tied to a "computer" and you need it for other functions...A/C, etc. so you will have two screens (1 being blank) and you will also have "half moons" for the trim where it wraps around the oem stereo knobs
