Stereo Display problem (possible Isimple issue)

I installed the PXAMG\PGHHD2 in my 2007 Type S about 3 weeks ago. Works perfectly fine. (I am not sure which FW version it is though). I have been listening to my ipod ever since, until this week.

I started listening to a CD. There is a weird issue, and I am sure it was not there before installing the PXAMG.

When I turn the car in (and its in CD mode from when I turned it off). The top display (by the clock) will cycle between saying "DISC" and "1-53-07" (mp3 cd display). It cycles about every second...very fast
When I hit the Audio button on my nav, the screen will show up, then immediately go back to the nav screen. This happens whether Im playing a MP3 cd, or normal CD, or DVD-A.
The strange part is, without turning the car off, I can go to XM mode, to play either XM or Ipod with the PXAMG, the whole system returns to normal function. I can go back to CD mode, and it works perfectly. The Audio screen will stay up..

But if I turn my car off, and start it back up in CD mode, the same problem happens.

I have not yet had time to disconnect the PXAMG to see if the problem remains, but I plan to.
If it is the PXAMG causing this, I'm a little hesitant to update the firmware because of some people having issues with the latest version.

Anyone heard of anything like this? Or can someone with the same setup see if this is happening to them?

Thanks!
