Steering wheels swap question

I have an 2004 Acura Tl A-Spec and i don't have the bluetooth option on my steering wheel.

If i swap my steering wheel for the model 2006 with bluetooth option, will it work without me doing any modifications like adding wires.

If it works would i be able to use with a blackberry Strom 1. ???

I'll swap you my bluetooth steering wheel for your thicker a-spec wheel.

in all honesty, i believe the bluetooth controls detach from the steering wheel. you might want to search on how to replace the wheel, as thats where i saw that it is detachable. Also you might want to check out the specs of a 2004 TL, mainly did it come with bluetooth?

You have a non-navi 2004 TL, right? If yes, I believe that they didn't come with the Bluetooth system, only navi models did. I'm not sure if they have all the wires already in place along with the HFL module.

Try this, press the arrow buttons for your MID until you've scrolled through it, do you see an option for Hands Free Link?

Yes it's an 2004 A-Spec. No i don't see the option. But i know what ur saying. My friend as the '05 model and have the bluetooth option and his is not navi.

I'm pretty sure that as soon a plug in the steering wheel, the car's maybe gonna notice the different and give me the option.

They all had bluetooth - at least, they did in the US. I don't know about America Junior (joke).
