I used to have the viper smartstart on my car and would have a shitload of problems. Like my alarm going off by itself. Door pins would go bad. It would show my doors were open. I got tired of it and removed it and no more problems. Our cars are so sensitive and smart compared to the cars they show on the videos/pictures on there websites. I hope this smart system doesn't cause me the same issues.

Yeah I was wanting to get the viper Smart Start along with the 2 way pager as well as connect all my windows, trunk, and sunroof to the Aux and they quoted me around 1000 with parts and labor i was like WTF!!! So i changed my mind plus i seen the lag with the cell phone networks where it took a few seconds to open the car, start it, or open the windows. I would hate this especially if im using my cell phone all the time to open the car it would be quicker to carry a pager or use my key then open my car with the cell phone app.

I paid a total of $632. Our cars come with the window down function, but it won't go up. And when I had the viper smartstart installed they did go up with the factory module. Idk how

Supposedly he ships today. I think there's a 5 hour difference in Arizona. But I still haven't received a tracking number.

I was thinking in between The seat heaters. If it fits. Or maybe like the op right on the key cylinder. Not sure yet.

I'm thinking of doing this as well. I posted a picture of the spot earlier in this thread.

Sent my payment already, yet another mod. I've been looking for the best possible location to mount the button. But it will require some custom work along with relocating a few things. And I'm not using that ugly plastic cap for the ignition hole. Should be fun.
