Spliced taps

I was wondering for the spliced taps for the resistors
do u need to clean off the jelly stuff b4 installation

Jelly? On the taps? Most likely its just a silicone based lubricant, does not affect anything

Those are water resistant taps.. They can get super messy. Next time dont buy them unless you are doing something on a boat.
