I Know This Is A Dumb Question But What Are The Exact Specs For The Speakers In An '06 Tl, Because Im Looking To Replace Them

Not sure if 05 and 06 are the same, but the door and rear deck speakers are 20w @2ohm, the center is 15w @4ohm (if i remember correctly), and i believe the sub is 40w, but not sure if it's 2 or 4ohm.

 

What about the sizes? I have a pair of Inifiniti 6x9 laying around. Would be sweet if I can put them into the TL.

There are no hi-end direct replacements. They all take some sort of modifictaion to mount them. Back in the old days, you replaced a factory 6x9 or other "normal" sized speaker with an aftermarket of the same size. Not now. The factory door and rear deck speakers are 6.25. Not your everyday size. And on top of that, they have a 3 screw, almost triangular mount, at least in the rear, anyway. But you can still put a 6.5 or 5.25 in there if you want. Just need to drill or cut a little bit.
