Ok, so I bought my 08 tl type s 2 weeks ago. the car is in mint condition I couldnt be happier. BUT.....today I was in a parking lot wasting time and notice that when I fade the stereo all the way to the back, the sound is very garbled and "distant"....could my rear speakers be blown/shorting out? Or are the rear speakers like completely for surround sound and are meant to sound like that......kinda worried, but at the same time replacement speakers are one of the cheaper issue I can think of cropping up.....thanks for the help...

 

The rear speakers are 6.5s only. No tweeters. They are made for rear fill only, not to be full range. I have no idea without hearing them, but they are likely normal.

 

Ok, so it was because the pro logic was on. Once I turned that off everything is golden. Just thought I would share...
